Nontokozo Gxumisa - Managing Director BCompt (Unitra) BCom Hons (Natal) 

Nontokozo, the founder of MCV International Forwarding (Pty) Ltd is a dedicated business woman who was employed by BMW SA (Pty) Ltd as an MIDP Financial Analyst in the Finance – Customs and Excise division.

Her responsibility among others included managing BMW SA’s incentive benefits from government and from the MIDP in the form of preparing and monitoring the company claims and MIDP quarterly accounts, accounting for company rebates, accounting for direct and indirect taxes such as VAT and Ad Valorem on imports, advising management on the impact of changes in incentives and coordinating all audits either from SARS, External auditors or ITAC.  

Prior to joining BMW, she was employed by SARS (Large Business Centre) where she was responsible for Planning and supervising direct and indirect tax audits in the Manufacturing sector specializing on multinational companies.  She has spent a number of years at SARS Customs as a Customs Specialist Auditor where she gained a vast experience on imports, exports  and rebates in different industries. She was part of the team that prepared audit procedures for SARS Post Clearance Inspection Department (PCI).   

While at Customs she had more exposure in the Motor Industry, Clothing industry, Electronics industry among others.  She served her articles at Gobodo Incorporated where she gained a vast accounting and audit experience. She is a registered accountant and a registered tax practitioner. She is a member of The Institute of Directors SA.

Peggy  Neliswa Nkonyeni  - Marketing Director 

Ms Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni joined MCV International in 2016 as a Marketing Director.  She brings in her strong leadership qualities and experience. She has played a major role in the leadership of South African Government.  She has been a member of KwaZulu- Natal Legislature since 1999.

She is the former African National Congress (ANC) Whip,  the chairperson of the Parliamentary Women’s Caucus and chairperson of various committees. She served as a member of the portfolio committee for Economic Development, as a speaker of the provincial legislature and as the chairperson of Social Protection and Human Settlements in the provincial Executive council.

 She has passion in International Trade and the Marine industry and as stated in the National Development Plan, she believes that among others South Africa will encumber poverty through increasing its  share of exports in the global market and through utilisation of its preferential trade agreements with other countries.  She is involved in various projects aimed at encouraging Business and Economic    Development in South Africa.

BRENDA BINNEMAN: DIRECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - (NDIP: Chemical Engineering, CTC, FSB)

Brenda joined MCV International Forwarding as a Director in 2016 as Business Development Director. She brings with her a wealth of expertise in the trade environment and a particular aptitude for the promotion and encouragement of truly effective and productive logistic solutions.

Before entering business full-time in 2006, Brenda was involved with Sasol Synfuels for a number of years as a Production Manager. Her marketing, business development and sales career involved several management positions with a number of prestige companies in a wide spectrum technical as well as commodity trade and logistic solutions.

Brenda served on the Board of the Umdoni Business Chamber as Manco Member from 20130 to 2016, in addition to holding various Executive positions of the SRA (Scottburgh Rate Payers Association), Deputy Chairperson of Umdoni Tourism Board, Board member of the Executive Team of Sekwanele Ex-Convict Integration Association NPO and been elected to resuscitate the previous WISTA SA organization (Women in Skipping and Trade Association). Brenda joined in 2015 Afribiz Invest as Board Member in the position of Non-Executive Director, a Pan Africa Investment holdings entity.

Brenda has run successful businesses, which range from professional training to mining development services from 2006 to date. She is well-acquainted with the mining, agriculture, maritime and construction environment. She is co-owner of an Iron Ore / Manganese Exploration entity based in the Northern Cape Province. She consults to a number of International Base Companies on Mining Development and Investment and presented papers on Women in Mining and Youth Marketing solution in Agriculture.

Brenda is passionate about educational empowerment and the value of equipping people with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve sustainable success in both the human and enterprise development space.  In her limited spare time she is an avid scuba diver and mentor to a number of youth initiatives.
